ACTION:       Peter Datson to ring the mall and confirm that we are going to be there and will chase up the cars that are going to be used.

 ·        The Armco has been straightened just needs to be welded.

ACTION:       Mark will organise for Rodger Weste to do this before Saturday’s meet.

 ·        Peter Datson will see Greg Hayes to get all the financial books.

NEW BUSINESS:

 ·        Tracy asked what time we will be running the Test’n’Tune for March 8th.

ACTION:       It will be run from 6pm – 9pm all agreed by the committee.

 ·        Ron Matthews said he had received a phone call from Bradley Hicks, Ann Davison and they are happy to help out with pit and start line side of things for January 12th.

·        Ron Matthews addressed the issue that we need to send Phil Stone, Tourism Officer for the Whyalla Council a list of Race Dates, as he was talking about the drags on the radio and had the wrong weekend.

ACTION:       Barry will get the race dates to Phil Stone and  get a questionnaire from him in regards to how many people attend Whyalla for the drags, how they heard about it etc.

·        Ron Matthews has brought the Clubs attention to some bitumen breaking away near the end of the track near run off.

ACTION:       Peter Datson will go to the track and see what he can get done before Saturday 12th.

 ·        Council has done the line marking.

·        We need to find someone to open canteen for 18th Jan.  Mandy is a little concerned that it won’t be open on time.

ACTION:       Mandy will ring Bet Henderson and ask her if she is able to assist in the canteen that night and Mark and Lia Kuhn have offered to open the canteen until Mandy gets here to take over.  Mandy will also try and find 2 or 3 other workers to help on the night.  We won’t need that many as we are not expecting to be that busy and we are only doing minimal menu.

 ·        We need lighting for inside the beer booth.

ACTION:       Mandy will chase some portable lights for inside and Barry is chasing an extra lighting tower.
